Obituary

Rose M. Workman, 88, of Lewistown passed away at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lewistown, on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. Rose was born on December 10, 1932 in New Oxford, Adams Co. PA, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy Smith Livelsberger. On May 26, 1951 Rose married Reuben M. Workman who preceded her in death.
Rose is survived by daughters, Dorothy Workman(James Getz, Jr.), of Lewistown, Kathy M. Cornely (Gary Fogel) of Wellsboro, Margaret (William) Marker of Lewistown, and Marcia (Ronald) Marlatt of Lewistown and her son John Workman (Paula Smith) of Hublersburg; also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Rose is also survived by her siblings, James Livelsberger, Thomas Livelsberger, Michael Livelsberger, Cass, Joyce, Theresa, Janet, Faye, and Tami. Rose was employed by the Penns Valley School District as a custodian, before her retirement in 1983. She was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed bingo, bingo and reading, she also loved to sit out at the picnic table with her friends and was a very giving person.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise and her brothers, William, Richard, and Russell.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 12:30 P. M. - 1:30 P. M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 P. M. with officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co. at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg.

Dearest Workman family,
