Emil E.“Pete” Krone, 76 formerly of Bellefonte, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Hillview Health Care & Rehab Center in Altoona. Pete was born on March 1, 1945 in York, PA , a son of the late Eugene and Evalyn Henry Krone. Pete is survived by his daughter, Jessi Krone of Bellefonte and his step-daughters, Bridget Rossman, Sherry Rossman, and Velvet Comly all of Bellefonte; also surviving are his 10 grandchildren and his 6 great-grandchildren.
Pete had been employed as a blacksmith and construction worker. He was of the Protestant faith.
Pete had served his country in the US Army, during the Vietnam War.
Pete was a member and past commander of Milesburg American Legion Post 893, Bellefonte American Legion Post 33 and Bellefonte V. F. W. Post 1600 of Bellefonte, and he was a life member of the Snow Shoe Fire Hall. He enjoyed fishing, being social and always had a twinkle in his eye.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his significant other Cathy Rossman, one grandson, one brother, one sister, and his beloved dog Rosco.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

I am sorry to hear that Pete died. He was a great guy. He used to give sermons on the rock at Kato.
