Obituary

Sharon I. Rhoades, 68, of Snow Shoe passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Sharon was born in Bellefonte on September 15, 1952, the daughter of the late Clair and Mary Brown Young. She married Percy Rhoades, Jr. who preceded her in death. Sharon is survived by her fiance, Franklin Lucas who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Lori Cowher, April Lucas; her sister, Ernesta Young Hanncott of Fl, her brother, Tim Young of Spring Mills; her grandchildren, Percy Weaver, Sr., Amber Cox, Paul Weaver, Thomas L. Cowher, Jr., Constance J. Cowher, Matthew Lucas, Frankie Lucas, Sean Tenalio and her great grandchildren, Boyd Cox, Jr., Patience I. Cox, Xavier Cox, and Percy A. Weaver, Jr. Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Faith Adele Young, Alice Faye Young, Mary Ann Reed, Elizabeth Bryan, Clair Young, Jr. and Clarence Young. Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search and especially spending time with her great grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg. Online condolences may be made at www.deankwetzlerfuneralhome.com.

Sharon I will never forget the times we had and how much you did for me and my children. Ashley never wanted to leave you, our camping trips and cook outs you will be forever in our hearts. My God comfort your family at this time. Frankie she will always be with you.
