Dear Tom's family and close friends,
My sincere condolences to all of you. What a devastating shock it was to learn of Tom's sudden passing. I'm still in shock and a state of disbelief. Tom was the nicest most decent, friendly, considerate guy anyone could have met. He worked hard here at the Towers in SC- he knew every nook and cranny of this place and took great pride in keeping everything in top condition. Tom didn't hesitate for 1 second to help anyone with anything, whether it was one of his 'official' responsibilities or not. I chatted with almost every day for the past 12 years, and I considered him to be my friend. He was a fixture here, and it just won't be the same living here without him. I will miss him, we all will miss him. I am SO sorry. Sincerely, James (Jamie) Cooper, resident at the "Towers" and prof at PSU.

Mr, Neff was a kind and helpful man. It will not be the same, not seeing you smiling face and wave of hello in the morning. He was a hardworking man who would respond to our requests efficiently and promptly. We were all shocked and immensely saddened to hear of his passing. May fond memories of Tom bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May he ride on the wings of angels to be with our Heavenly Father.

Tom you were a wonderful help for us at VideoMining and the Towers Building in general. This place is not the same with out you. You were very hardworking, dedicated, knowledgeable, rapid to respond to things. I used to wonder when you ever took time for yourself. I was shocked and so sorry to hear of your passing. Blessings to you, your family and all who knew you.
