I lost a piece of my heart this week...Barbara Fiehler of my dearest lifelong Chi O sorority ‘big sis’ roommate...bridesmaids in each other’s weddings...we cheered and loved our Penn State football games...we looked forward to our girls’ weekends...I will never forget your example to me and so many...your grace and elegance...your encouragement...your loyalty...your generosity...your love...and oh your laugh! This photo will remain my favorite picture of you...your head thrown back and laughing with abandon and enjoying life...I can’t believe I won’t hear that laugh again this side of heaven...but I rest knowing you are laughing with Jesus Himself now...I love you ‘sis’

My sister, my best friend. There are so many things that I never would have done if not for you. You were a fighter par excellence, who dared and attained her dreams. We shared so many hardships but always beat them--til now. Someday, I will meet you on the piazza. I will never forget you or stop loving you. Connie
