Debra A. Gibboney, 62, of rural Bellefonte, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Deb was born in Bellefonte on July 13, 1956, a daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline E. Davidson Mann. Deb is survived by her daughter, Aleasha L. and son-in-law, Richard Weidman of York. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, Jaiden Weidman, Kyle Weidman, Bryce Weidman and Lindsey Weidman.
Deb was of the Methodist Faith. She was a graduate of South Hills Business School with an associate degree in accounting. She was employed at the Earth and Space Engineering Department at Penn State in accounting.
Deb was a member of Citizens Hook & Ladder Fire Co. #9 of Milesburg, Logan Fire Company of Bellefonte and was a dispatcher for the Bellefonte Police Department.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Mann.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 7, 2019, from
1:30 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg with the funeral services at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Douglas W. Mellott officiating. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre Co.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
