Jere Lynn Kline, 85, of Eagle Valley Personal Care Home, Milesburg, formerly of Bellefonte, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Jere Lynn was born in Lock Haven, on November 29, 1933, a daughter of the late Gordon and Alberta Temple Hendricks. Jere Lynn was raised by her grandparents, Jack (Jerry) and Mary Temple and Harold and Mary Hendricks. On May 7, 1950 she married Ray B. Kline, Jr. who preceded her in death on August 29, 2011.
Jere Lynn is survived by her daughter, Denise A. (Howard) Rupert of Blanchard and her sons, George M. (Linda) Kline of Julian and Ray B. Kline III of Snow Shoe. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Anissa R. (John) Ilie, Benjamin H. (Gina) Rupert, Eli I. (Kristy) Kline, and Ashley M. Kline and her great-grandchildren Noelle Lynn Rupert and Lucy Kline. Jere Lynn is also survived by her 1/2 sister, Sandy Johnson of Horsehead, NY.
Jere Lynn was of the Protestant Faith. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, gardening, canning, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating.
Jere Lynn was employed at SCI Rockview as a secretary, and also at Claster's and Nastase Beer Distributor.
In addition to her parents, grandparent and husband, she was preceded in death by her step-mothers, Ann Phillips, Elizabeth Hendricks, she was also preceded in death by her son, Duane G. Kline , her grandson, Logan Kline, and her step-brother, Wayne Miller.
Family and friends will be received, on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 10 A.M. - 12 noon, time of the services at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with Pastor Terry Daugherty, officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., PA
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 810 River Ave. #140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212, in memory of Jere Lynn Kline.
