Obituary for Dolores E. ""Dolly"" Torsell (Boscaino)

Dolores E. "Dolly" Torsell, 85, of Bellefonte passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. She was born in Bellefonte on May 24, 1933, the daughter of the late James R. and Eva Bell (Lucas) Boscaino, Sr. On May 6, 1977 she married Frank J. Torsell, who survives at home. She was a 1951 graduate of the Bellefonte High School. Dolly worked at Bosco's Restaurant in Bellefonte, Centre Co. Government and the PA. Fish and Boat Commission. She was a member of the St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. She was an avid Bingo player and loved games of chance, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family at the annual Memorial Day Picnic and the Christmas Eve celebrations. Along with her husband she is survived by her three sons; Michael Lenny Young of Bellefonte, Thomas J. (Tere) Young of Bellefonte and David J. (Karen) Young of Montoursville. Dolly is also survived by her five grandchildren, Lindsey Houseknecht of Montoursville, Seth Young of Bellefonte, Dalton Young of Pittsburgh, Brooks Anna Young of New York, NY , Abigail Young of Bellefonte, two great grandchildren, Jay and Jordan Houseknecht of Montoursville, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, Robert Boscaino, Anthony "Tony" Boscaino and James R. Boscaino, Jr.
Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family with Father George Jakopac officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Bellefonte. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John The Evangelist Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop Street, Bellefonte, Pa. 16823.
