Frances I. Young, 70, of Milesburg, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at home. Frances was born in Lock Haven, on April 14, 1948, a daughter of the late Clair and Vietta Young. Frances was a 1966 graduate of Renovo High School. She was employed at C-Cor in State College and State of the Art at Penn State University before her retirement.
Frances is survived by her sisters, Nancy Miller of Beech Creek, Eva (Carl) Butler of rural Bellefonte, and her brother, Ancil (Sonny) Tipton, Jr. of Dubois.
She was of the Protestant Faith. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, car rides in the fall of the year and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Young.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg.
