Arletta L.  Walker (Davidson)
Arletta L. Walker, 84 of Milesburg, passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Arletta was born on September 14, 1933 in Boggs Twp., Centre Co, Pa. She was the daughter of the late James J. and Pearl L. Stratiff Davidson. In August, 1950, she married Kenneth L. Walker, who survives at home. Arletta was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, stitching and reading. She belonged to the Milesburg Card Club. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She totally adored her grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Carmen (Gary) Heverly of Fleming, Christine (Jim) Peters of Wingate and her sons; Kenneth L. Walker, Jr. of Nashville, Gregory J. (Brenda) Walker of Weatherford, TX and Jeffrey M. (Cheryl) Walker of Milesburg; her sisters, Emogene Tyson, of Loganton, Patricia Riglin of Bellefonte, Carol Yearick of rural Howard; her brothers Lewis Davidson of rural Howard, Charles Davidson of rural Howard, James Davidson of Lincoln, Nebraska and Lloyd (Joe) Davidson of Runville.
Also surviving Arletta are her 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Clara Belle Eminhizer and her brother, Franklin Davidson.
Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Douglas W. Mellott officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Other People Excel (H.O.P.E.), 253 Sycamore Lane, Julian, PA 16844 or the Runville United Methodist Church, 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823 in Memory of Arletta Walker.
