Obituary for Edward F. Wentz Jr.

Edward F. Wentz, Jr., 69, of Centre Hall, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 26, 2017. He was born in Huntingdon on August 31, 1948, the son of the late Edward F. and Wanda P. (Edwards) Wentz, Sr. On August 11, 1967, he married the former Doris Bundschuh (Wentz), who survives at home. Ed was a Merchandising Manager at Clasters from 1971 to 1995, and from 1995 until 2010, he was a realtor at Fisher's Realty. He was of the Protestant faith. He was past Exalted Ruler at the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094, a Boy Scout leader for Troop #52, a Cub Scout leader in Milesburg, and a Girl Scout leader in Milesburg and Bellefonte. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, archery and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Darlene J. Hall (James McCloskey), of Snow Shoe; his sons, Edward F. (Colleen) Wentz III, of Selinsgrove and David B. (Amy) Wentz, of Marienville; his sister, Linda Kraemer, of Hamilton, N.J.; and his brother, Max Wentz, of Hesston. Also surviving Ed are his grandchildren, Jessica Pisarcik, Travis Hall, Alexandra Wentz, Zachary Wentz, Isabella Wentz, Aubrianne Wentz, Nicholas Panciera, Mary Wentz; and his great granddaughter, Emily Grace Pisarcik. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chelsea Renee Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home P.O. Box 288, Milesburg, PA 16853 in Memory of Edward F. Wentz, Jr. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Oasis of Love Church, 10091 Station Road, Huntingdon, PA with Pastor Art Speck officiating.
