Wilbur passed from this world into a new life with the Lord on February 14, 2018. Wilbur was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will hold a special place in all of our hearts. He married the love of his life, Barbara (Dubbs) on October 3, 1960. Wilbur was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula, three sisters and a brother. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara, two daughters and a son. Ranea Wilcox (Peter), Elayne Kling (Chuck), and Wilbur II (Leslie). He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Derrick Poorman (Effie), Shane Poorman (Brittany), Devyn Wilcox (Stephanie), Bradley Kling (Kylie), Brandon Kling (Kiersten), Khyle McCloskey, Kori McCloskey, Megan Bush (Matt) and Randy Jasper, Jr.; nine great grandchildren and two sisters, Lola Young of Julian and Vendetta Haines of Bellefonte; numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Wilbur started his career in 1958 with Glenn O. Hawbaker working his way up to a heavy equipment operator. Although he had various employers throughout the years he always returned to Hawbakers retiring after multiple attempts on May 28, 2013. He took pride in his work and was very well know to be a great operator. Along the way making countless close friends that he cherished.
His favorite past times where camping, traveling, butchering (he made the best scrapple, sausage, and deer bologne), Friday morning breakfast with the guys and the Monday morning garage "therapy" meetings. But his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends.
