Obituary for Ronald E. Kinley
Ronald E. Kinley, 76, of Milesburg, passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 27, 2017, into the arms of his Lord and Savior with his family by his side. Ron was born on June 8, 1941, in Lock Haven a son of the late James and Dorothy Walker Kinley. On February 18, 1966, he married the former Gloria Kellerman who preceded him in death on March 7, 2012. Ron is survived by his son, Scott E. (Jennifer) Kinley of rural Bellefonte and his daughter, Cherie E. Kinley (Scott Moyer) also of rural Bellefonte. Also surviving Ron are his grandchildren, Erika Kinley, Kyle Kinley, Kaleigh Kinley, Chloe Kinley, Adam Corrigan, Nathan Corrigan, Katelyn Moyer, his great-granddaughter, Amelia Corrigan; his sister Jean McGhee of Mill Hall, and his brothers, Carter Kinley of Howard and James Kinley of Beech Creek. Ron was employed at HRB Raython in the maintenance department. Ron was a veteran having served in the US Army from February 14, 1967- January 26, 1969. Ron had attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, he was a member of the Howard Lions Club, Lions Club International, Lions Club Special Olympics, Howard Food Bank, Howard Lions Club Bingo. He was a Bell Ringer for the Salvation Army thru the Lions Club. Ron was also a member of Milesburg American Legion Post 893. Ron was a former Fire Warden, he was a parking attendant at the Grange Fair. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, Donald and Robert Kinley. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with a Lions Club Memorial Service by The Howard Area Lions Club at 7:45 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Miles-burg, PA. with Pastor B. Jeffrey Trawinski officiating. Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co. where military honors will be accorded. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of The Dean K.
